That's ok! I am the one who should be sorry, completely forgot I had not followed up on this. Thanks for reminding me.

Yes I did receive the sensors, and a lot sooner than I expected being a week. It turns out that this store has Australian stock shipped out of Melbourne I think it was. I have only tested it all by hand indoors, and everything certainly appears to be working as it should. So at least for Australian builders this source would be alright.

The only thing that time will tell, is how well they will stand up to the Australian sun.

Apart from cases for the boards, mounting mast and Stevenson screen my system is ready to go. Back to square one house hunting wise, so I may even set it up here.

Just ordered this case for my Rx board. Should be a comfortable fit for everything. I have to cut a rectangular hole in the front panel of course for the 20*4 LCD. That's the part I am worried about the most!

Usually I prefer ABS plastic cases. They are more easy to cut and make holes.
Take some pictures at the end, this could give some ideas to us.

I am still gradually building my system. Both my boards are built and functional, it's the mounting mast and enclosures I am attending to now.

I commenced building the parts of the mast for the wind sensors today. Out of time for this weekend, so have to continue next week now. I sourced a plastic weather proof enclosure from Masters hardware, designed for keeping power boards dry outside. It was inexpensive and intended to be temporary for here, however since it is much better than I expected, I think I shall make it permanent.

My metal case for the Rx board arrived, along with a nibbling tool I ordered to hopefully nicely cut the hole for the LCD.

I tackled the logger chip this morning. When I run the I2C scanner test I get the following:

Scanning...
I2C device found at address 0x68 !
I2C device found at address 0x77 !
done

Are there supposed to be four lines reported back, or is this perfect?

You get this everytime you run I2C Scanner?

It lacks the addresses of the LCD and RTC eeprom.

In the meantime I reheat solder on the pads, and now up to 3.

The missing one is important for the logger to work.
Strange, the RTC is detected, but the eeprom (located on the same module) is not.

As stated on the parts list, R5 and R6 should not be installed. Please check it too.
