Brand new Davis rain gauge and anemometer. Just the bits needed for Weatherduino. Anyone interested let me know and I shall not bid, if no-one interested from this forum I shall bid to add to my collection of "spares".

I have contacted the seller and asked if he would send to Australia; if he will I will bid
Thanks

OK I am out, I am sure you have considered postage cost, but I send stuff to my daughter in NZ and it is expensive. All depends on final price I suppose. This auction is for the older anemometer, (and rain gauge)

but mine has lasted a decade with minimal repairs and these are easy when needed,

to wire into weatherduino see:

Complete Davis system; chuck out the davis electronics (sell them back on ebay) and you will have rain gauge, anemometer/vane, TX housing and radiation shield.

and these have been up for ages but are research grade anemometers;

Some Hobo gauges: also excellent, these come with their own event data logger which.you might be able to sell on.

I was lucky and scored a Davis VP2 on Gumtree a couple of weeks ago. I am going to use the sensor pack outside unit and sell off the head. Got it for 450 aussie which is about 270 quid. The units here are 1200

Nice. I've just seem some suspiciously cheap VP2s on Amazon (280GBP).

Looks "Too good to be true", so I'm 99% certain this is a scam, but here's the amzon link.

As fourth anniversary gift to my WeatherDuino Pro2 weather station I added this:

This is the metric version (0,2mm), but comes with a very short cable.
