Today, the Ventus W044 sensor was delivered, I thought to shut down the Auriol unit, maybe that's not so easy. I had removed the batteries from the temperature / wind unit and then started the Pro2 Compact, actually it should stop when initializing, but the letter "T" emperature turned green. WTF? The Ventus sensor was not activated yet. Could another sensor disturb my operation here?

That was a good test, which revealed the source of the problem.

Since I activated my Auriol to try to reproduce the reported problem, I have taken the opportunity to revise the Auriol code, which I haven't touched for years. Contrarily to what I said on the previous post, the WeatherDuino receives and decodes all Temp / Hum data packets from any sensor available which transmits T/H in the Auriol format, obviously this causes problems when there are any other extra T/H sensor. This is what is happening with you, otherwise the letter "T" wouldn't turn to green on the receiver.

This can be fixed, but the fix implies a rule: Any extra T/H sensor can only be turned ON, after WeatherDuino receives the first T/H data packet from the main Auriol weather station. This must be done this way, because Auriol creates a random ID for each type of data packet each time it starts, so what I can do is make WeatherDuino to bind to the ID of first T/H data packet it receives. Hope what I mean be understandable.

I already changed the Auriol part of the code to behaves this way. Besides this changes I added to the Auriol code some anti-spike routines for the wind and temperature / humidity data packets. I will publish the new software ASAP, possibly still tonight.
