Hi Pete,

You can read e.g. these threads:

Good luck!

Thanks Horny - very helpful

Hi guys - it has taken a while to find the time, but my Weatherduino is up and running now. Still a few things to finish off - but it should be up 99% of the time now. It is a great project.

Thanks for the help in getting to this point. Still plan to add to the system so will be going for a while yet.

Look for Spence Wines on Wunderground - or Murgheboluc, Australia.

Sorry - more questions. Do I need to be worried about the Board Temp being at 59.9 degrees c in the webserver ? Does the voltage regulator in the TX board need a heat sink ?

G'day Pete.

60c isn't too bad for electronics usually.
But I take it this is being reported by the TMP36 and if then yes the regulator could be a lot hotter.
And yes, those linear 78xx or 79xx regulators should have a a heat sink.

Cheers UB

I am seeing this on the webserver "Board Temperature". Is it displaying the TMP 36 temp in the TX module ?

Yes I think that's correct

Hi,

First of all thank you for your feedback about your new WeatherDuino Weather Station.
Regarding the reported high board temperature, this value (59.9ºC) generally happens when the TMP36 sensor isn't installed on the TX board. Please check that.

I really like the look of the receiver. Was the box designed from scratch to house the receiver? Very good job
Outside installation also looks very good. Smile

Regards
