Quote:The easiest option to do so is to sign up on the Weather underground then punch in the details in Cumulus. Give me a shout if you get stuck.

Cool.
Now you might get the bug and get a website up next Wink
Cumulus makes this fairly easy too and even comes with it's own html version installed. It's all in the Cumulus help or faqs or forums at Sandaysoft Smile It's a bit too much to go into detail here.

Congratulations! Your weather station is up and running.
Your data are comparing very well with an nearby weather station from a reputed brand.

If you are proud of your weather station, maybe you could add in your wunderground profile, under hardware, the name WeatherDuino Pro2

Thank you again. I'm very grateful to Uncle Bob too. He did a great job writing the articles. I can't imagine how many hours he has spent doing it, and reading PM's, written in my very poor english. SmileSmileSmile

Cheers, Alan.

It seems that with the latest driver version, this did not happen. Each Arduino, gets a different COM port, as it should!

I am attempting to update the rain factor in the TX software from 0.3 to 0.8. I have made the change in the TX software at line 86, compiled and uploaded to the Arduino. Unfortunately the change is not flowing through to either the RCV or WD units as when the bucket is tipped the change is still adjusted by 0.3. Is there also some other changes that also need to be made?
Also, is there a way of confirming that the change in code uploaded to the TX Arduino has actually occurred?

Hi,

A change from 0.3mm to 0.8mm it's a very big change, but if you really want to do it, I can help you. Currently this can't be done only in the TX software.
Can you please tell me the software version and build, that you are using in your TX and RX units?

Sorry for asking, are you using an FO rain gauge?

Regards

Hi Caneira,
Thanks for the quick response. Software details are RX v1.4_b035 and the TX v1.4_b003.
I am not using a FO rain gauge. I picked up a cheap rain gauge from a local shop. I am attempting to match the output on the receiver it came with to WeatherDuino project. 1 tip from this gauge equates to 0.78mm according to the digital indicator that came with the gauge. I have tested on 50 continuous tips and this volume appears consistent. Just trying to now use this gauge with WeatherDuino.
