Screen_timer var
#1

Hi, Werk_AG,

New version 7.4 b006 20240107:

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the main file is missing a variable definition "Screen_timer"
I added it to main .ino into raw No. 145:

Code:
wint32_t Screen_timer;

Hi,

Thanks! That Var is no more used, I removed the declaration but forgot to remove another line on the code. I haven't noticed it because the error only comes up when compiling for very old TFT displays.

Its fixed now. Onve again thank you.

Hi,

I thought it would only affect "very old" displays -> but that's exactly my case...  Cool
Thank you for the correction.

Just for curiosity. Even though it's an old display, have you tried it with the "0" option? In many cases the calibration procedure after the first firmware upload works.

Well, I haven't really tried...

I'll try again when I have some time. But now it works so beautifully that I definitely wouldn't want to screw it up (even since the upgrade, my display hasn't frozen once). It's just that the display doesn't want to go to sleep mode - I still have 30 minutes set...

Hello and sunny greetings,
can the latest firmware be checked please, the screen saver does not activate. Various time outs or changing the mode did not bring any changes..

Hello dear Sun_Dancer

For me to check, can you please specify to which firmware do you refer? Firmware for the older WD unit, or for the newer WD II units?
Thank you.

Kind regards
