Is WD Software WeeWX compatible?
#41

Cheers,
Maybe I'll buy both.

Derek;
The RTC you mentioned and the first RTC I mentioned has 6 pins, yet the RX board appears to have 5 pins for the RTC. What happens there, do you just use 5 of the 6 pins?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael.

I did not use the six pins.
I soldered leads to the other end that has 4 pads.
SCL SDA VCC GND

Then connected:
SCL to SCL
SDA to SDA
VCC to 5V on the I2C/LCD pin ( could be any other 5V pin thats free )
GND to GND

Hi Michael

As said by Zdenek, the right RTC module to use with the Pro2 PLUS board is the second one.

Precision DS3231 Real Time Clock Module RTC DS3231 3.3V/5V with Battery for Raspberry Pi

It fits directly on the 5 pins on the board. The less cables around the better.
