I've order a few sets of the ASK 2MHz modules from the UK, that danner referred to, and I'll do some comparison testing on those when they arrive, both with my older 433Mhz TX station and the last lot of 433MHz modules in the test-beds. I'll post back here how they go and what I see... Thanks guys....

I am very interested to see the results of your test since I have not built mine yet. Hope to start building mine soon though.
