If using Molex or a reputable brand of connector then they should be fine. A lot of us are already using them.
As a side note in the 2 picture we call those "male header pins" and the part that connects to them "female header plugs". That said they could even be called something else in other English speaking countries, especially America where for some unknown reason they really messed with the English language
