It's taken a little longer than I wanted but the station is up and running 
And wouldn't you know the weather here on the edge of the Lake District is calm and dry 
so there isn't much too see!!!
I wanted to be up and running yesterday but I've had a problem with receiving data for some reason. When I got up today the RX unit had connected so I switched it off and back on and data came through, so I went for it.
The pics I've attached show the first versions of my setup, It may change in the future. Had a go at a radiation shield also.
I considered mounting the TX unit outside with a solar panel setup but after reading some threads on the forum decided that it would require quite a large panel for here in the north of England, plus I couldn't really get a good unrestricted view of the sun. So I decided to mount in the garage and power from a 12v supply.
The whole project from the start has been great fun, and of course it isn't finish yet!!!
