Let me tell you a little of history. Five years ago I bought an Auriol weather station, then, to have the possibility to log their data I built the AuriolDuino, the predecessor of the WeatherDuino system. The code to decode the Auriol messages worked for my weather station for more than an year, then I decided to upgrade my weather instruments to something better. I'm telling this, to emphasize that the Auriol code isn't something in development, it has done since long time and it works, I just took this opportunity to revise it, and add some things like anti-spike routines and limit reception of T/H data just from the ID of first T/H sensor from where it receives a data packet (This one was done, thinking in your case, as I never had any extra Auriol T/H sensor, I never thought about that).
That said, lets go to what matters...
Please try these procedures, exactly by this order:
- Turn OFF any extra T/H sensors that you are aware that exist in your home.
- Don't turn OFF your Auriol weather station, by the contrary, keep it working normally.
- Download latest WeatherDuino Pro2 Compact software (v3.1_b005 - Release date: 2019-09-01)
- Change Config_Options to suite your needs. Reprogram the receiver. After it passed the initial screen (TWR letters green) you can safely turn ON any extra T/H sensor you may have.
Every time you switch off (or change the batteries) on the Auriol weather station, do a "Factory Reset" on the WeatherDuino receiver, otherwise it will not receive T/H data any more, this will happen because Auriol randomly changes the sensors ID each time it starts. Think on it as the "Channel Search" on the original Auriol console.
At the end, if you conclude that it doesn't work for you, you can send back the receiver to me, I will full refund you. In terms of software, there is little I can do more.
