Hello Adam,

Since it is not detected by the I2C Scanner utility, I think it's safe to conclude that the sensor probably is faulty.
Mainly I also use use those type of sensor modules bought on China, up to now I as been lucky...  never got one faulty.

Perhaps its time to order another one, or better two of them... from different sellers.

I will order a new one and report back. Are the 4 pin senors the best option? Some higher quality companies like Adafruit sell the sensor but they seem to be mostly 6 pins.
