DLink Weather Cam - How To

For those interested in trying a home webcam to upload to WeatherUnderground, but not sure where to start, below are the settings that I used.  Maybe of inspiration or help if you decide to try this option.  Just look for a camera that has FTP option, as many do.  I used a DLink DCS-942L, which is an older camera that I had lying around.

Might want to change your username password in that doc to something more complex. I see them used everywhere

the one I bought badly is otherwise excellent, but not for FTP ... It costs USD 54,
but they are lying on the web:

The new one I order is NEO Coolcam NIP-56FX 720p HD, but it hasn't arrived to me
yet. It costs only USD 36. They promised me the camera has true FTP ...

What does that mean? Is that an IR "cut" filter, an IR "pass" filter, or neither?
