will this sensor work?
#1

Hello. First post so sorry if this is a stupid question but I know very little about arduino stuff.

I found an SHT31 sensor with breakout board that I would like to use, but it has 5 pins and the Tx board looks like it uses 4 pins. Is this compatible?

Hi, welcome to forum

Quote:•Wide supply voltage range, from 2.4 to 5.5 V
•I2C Interface with communication speeds up to 1MHz and two user selectable addresses
•I2C address (7-bit) can be 0x44 or 0x45

Judging by specifications this sensor is totally compatible and will work without any change on the default I2C address (0x44). It seems a very well designed breakout board, allowing an easy install of the Sensirion IP67 FS2 filter cap.

To connect it to the TX board, use only the pins VDD, SDA, SCL and GND.
