Just wondering what connectors if any people are using to connect the displays to the PCBs? I've been looking unsuccessfully for 16 way 2.54mm pitch ribbon cable assemblies, as 16 individual wires seems a recipe for errors.

Ideally from UK supplier...?

Hi,

You only need 13 wires. The more easier way is to use female to female Dupont ribbon cable. They are easy to find on eBay

When connecting the display to my original RX board I thought of making my own cable, but as Werk_AG says the easiest and quickest way is to use pre-made "Dupont" ribbon cable which is what I did. It is obtainable from a number of ebay sellers but the one I've used - and just ordered some more from - here in the UK is:

Hope that helps.

Allan.

Use 2 of the small molex 8 way connectors. It makes up a nice solid ribbon cable. They will fit on the sip pin strips or you should be able to fit the headers on the pcb...Hope mine will arrive this week coming if you havent done yours I will take a pic and show you how I will be doing it
