I have CumulusMX uploading my data to an offsite web server which hosts my weather site. But I also have CumulusMX uploading to Weather Underground as well. I had the Weather Underground uploading in place before I set up my website but I left Weather Underground in place after the website was created. The benefit is that Wunderground sends me an email if it stops getting information from CumulusMX. That gives me the tip to check why things are not working as they should. It hasn't happened often but it has happened and Wunderground alerts me to it fairly quickly.
