Just to clarify, the Wind Anemometer does connect through that board, the black wire looked like it had broken off because i soldered it to the other side and swapped it with the Yellow as a test. Sorry i have just put it all back together and im going to see if i can get my money back at Bunnings first. Yes i would certainly suspect its digital given that there is a chip in the middle. If i have no luck at returning it then ill take some more pictures. As you can see from their website, it looks just like a Fine offset, except that the rainfall unit is round.
