Looking for Advice on a Reliable Personal Weather Station
#1

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to set up a personal weather station at home to track temperature, humidity, pressure, and wind. I'd appreciate any advice on what equipment to choose.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
  • Budget: around €200–€500
  • Accurate sensors, especially for temperature and humidity
  • Easy setup with Weather Underground or MeteoCercal
  • Low maintenance (solar or long battery life)
  • Good outdoor durability
As someone who works in custom plastic fabrication, I’m also curious if anyone here has ever designed or modified enclosures or sensor housings to handle harsh weather better. I’d love to hear how you’ve customized your setup.
Thanks in advance for the tips!

How about a WeatherDuino System? It can be as accurate as the sensors you select,
Plenty of custom enclosures on here, but you might need to be a WeatherDuinobuilder to see all the posts.
