How to connect a ILI9341 TFT display to WeatherDuino Pro2 WD v2.xx boards
#1

So I managed to get the 2.4" TFT - ILI9341 320x240 display wired up that seems correctly done (as it it's working) Smile

Here's a picture so other don't have to re-invent the wheel Smile

Here is how I manager to add 2.4" tft to RX 3.01 board. You need to use WD software, since RX software includes only support for 1.8" tft and lcd. You need also level shifter 5V to 3.3V; tft is 3.3V device and RX board 5V. Orange short wire is for LED background, works with 5V. I have modified three "old" RX boxes to WD boxes, one of them has 2.8" tft.

Level shifters can be found from eBay.com "5V to 3V signal Level Conversion translator shifter module SPI".

The last post can be very useful for someone that have upgraded the RX unit to a v4.xx unit, and had an "old" RX v3.xx board on the shelf . As Mikko shows it can be converted to a WD unit
