A few doubts about hardware
#1

A few doubts (D) before I dive in:

D.1 - Isn´t Parts List for WeatherDuino TX Board v2.5 missing the DHT22 (or better) temperature-humidity sensor?

D.2 - I would like to use an Auriol rain-meter which transmits via wireless on the 434Mhz band as far as I know.
D.2.a - This will require an additional signal reception module, right? Or is this only possible using the AuriolDuino?
D.2.b - If it's possible with WeatherDuino, would it be placed on the TX or RX boards? Where? Any suggestions as far as the model is concerned?
EDIT: According to the description the RX board is Auriol compatible. So I guess the BX-RM06 ASK OOK RF Receiver Module 433MHZ can simultaneously get the signal from the TX unit AND the Auriol rain-meter?

D.3 - I understand the TX board already includes an option for UV and radiation. Still, apparently there are no schematics on how to build the improvised pyranometer from a solar cell, would it be possible to disclose these? Also adding suggested optional UV sensors to the TX parts list might be a good idea.
EDIT: I have since found this post, which is helpful.
I also found mention of plans for "something like a kit for the solar sensor". Any news on this?

D.4- Finally, the "plus 2 special SMA female connectors bulkhead" RX boards seem to be out of stock. Do you have a prevision of when there will be more available for delivery?

Thanks!

Intentionally (I'm very bad with the documentation Smile), I haven't included in the TX parts list, any reference of the outside weather instruments required, as the rain gauge, wind speed and direction sensor, or any of the supported temperature / humidity sensors. Maybe at some point I will include in the parts list, at least a reference to them.

I also use one!
Just place it in a suitable place (my is just some centimeters above ground level) within the cover range, configure the RX software to use it, and that's all.
Just a note: due to the considerable amount of code to deal with the Auriol instruments, some other minor functionalities (related to the TFT display), may be automatically disabled by the software.

Yes, it's possible to build the system without the Solar / UV sensors.
All the info required to build the solar sensor is already publish, just not as a "follow this guide" Smile
I'm working in something like an almost ready made kit, for the solar / UV sensor but it will not be availale before spring / summer 2015.

At moment, the SMA connectors are out of stock. I'm expecting have more between 10 to 15 February. But until then, the RX / TX boards certainly will run out of stock, again.
