Hi All,

I am just at the ordering parts stage and have been looking for a high quality photograph of the RX v2.00 and TX v3.13 boards loaded with all components fitted. This would help greatly assembly as well as in discerning the correct packages to purchase. I have noticed some different packages for some electrical components with slight spec differences and don't want to get the wrong thing.

I thought that I had seen such photos while I was researching this project, but now I cannot find them. Does anyone know where I would find them?

Or / and can anyone point me to a good tutorial with images for assembling both the RX and TX modules? I know about the Cilicon Chip articles but they are behind a pay wall . I would prefer not to spend money without seeing what the article has to offer.

I had a look through there and had not found a photo. So I looked again and found one of the Pro2 Plus receiver.

But I have not found any high quality transmitter photos and the wiki does not cover the v3.13 TX board as yet. Any more info available?

It isn't properly a high quality photo, but here is a picture of the new TX v3.13 taken from a unit I use for testing receivers.

 l notice on the latest board you no longer use the RJ connectors for the wind / rain instruments,is there a reason for this?

Hello Jim,

The reason why RJ connectors have been changed to screw connectors on the TX v3.13 board, is because it makes connections easier for those (which are many) who are using anemometers from other brands (Davis, Inspeed, etc) than the FineOfset ones.
For those who wants to use the FO anemometers, connection is also simple, they just need to cut the RJ connector, and connect the wires on the screw connector. There are labels on the pcb to help with the wirings.

That was a mistake from my side. Thanks for having spotting it to me. I already corrected the parts list.
