[attachment=1697]Hi,
I have upgraded my pro system to version 8 and have rainfall indications that do not reflect reality.attached are two screen shots which indicate what i am referring to. We actually had a little over 1 mm of rain.
As you can see the reading actually increased for no reason when the sun was shining (no rain at all)???
I am at a loss to explain this
Regards

Somewhere Werk wrote that you should upgrade on a day with no rain.
IIRC, going forward, this won't be an issue anymore.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your kind words about the WeatherDuino system.
I had suspected of that. I really recommend that you do a "factory reset" on the receiver. At 9AM it may reset the Today Rain to zero, but wrong values will continue stored on the eeprom, and on next boot up the problem will arrive again.
The option to use ”Atmega 328P (old bootloader)”, its available on the boards manager 1.6.21.
Once I know that boards manager v1.6.22 and v1.6.23 cause problems with the RX software, I never tested the TX software compiled with them, but there is a great change that it cause problems too.
AVR Boards 1.6.21 is safe for RX and TX software.
If you will chose to reprogram the TX using the avr boards 1.6.21, do the "factory reset" on the receiver after reprogramming the TX.
Regards

A new software version for the Pro2 PLUS has just being released today. So if you are with your hands on it, install the new software.
Remember, first upgrade TX software, then RX.
