How to assemble a BMP module in RX v4.0x boards
#1

WeatherDuino Pro2 RX v4.0x boards have support for three types of Barometric Pressure modules widelly available on eBay, each one with different pinouts. To allow this, the board has designed with something like a "special seven holes connector". User must search for the best fit for each supported BMP module type

The example below is for a module with the old good BMP085 Bosh sensor.

Pay particular attention in the position of the four right angle pins and how they are inserted on the module.
Now look the long legs...

Cut those long legs close to the module board and solder in that position!
If you do otherwise, the BMP module will overlap the space for the RTC clock or the space for the RF module.

If necessary I will post close photos for the other two modules too, but I think it will be not. The trick is the same for all the modules, test to find the best fit paying attention to surrounding parts.

In the above example we are connecting the 5V module pin to VCC board hole. So, set the jumper JP1 to 5V or solder a wire between the JP1 middle hole and 5V hole.

Another photo to show how to assemble another supported BMP module. This time is a module with the new Bosh BMP180 chip.

With this module also set voltage selector jumper JP1 to 5V.
