Usually, its not very difficult to make a cutout for the TFT display in any plastic case.
However with some models it is easier than with others. One of the reasons why I prefer the type of enclosure shown in the picture bellow, its because the front and back panels are detachable, which makes the work of making the cutoff a lot easier.

Take the front panel, with a marker mark the cutoff on the back side of the panel. Do it smaller than the visible area of the TFT screen. Use a drill or something else to do the cutoff, then use a thin file to perfect the sides until you get the perfect size for the TFT display.

I cut the opening smaller than the TFT display and slowly opened it up. I did it by eye, so it's not perfectly straight, but after I did it I thought of possibly a better way. You could c-clamp a metal straight-edge to the panel and parallel to the cutout you want to file. The metal straight-edge will act as a stop gauge preventing you from removing too much material. You might have to use two c-clamps in case they slip and the panel moves.

I have the same sort of case and I created the front and rear panels on a 3D printer. That way the cutouts are straight and square. It also allows you to incorporate whatever screen mounting arrangement you require on the inside of the panel.
