Ah Yes, apologies for giving "bad" information.  Apparently the SHT31 is available with an analogue output, but Davis use the -LSS version, although I must admit that I've never heard of the "Legacy Sensibus single shot" bus (and neither has Google or Wikipedia).   Is it one of the "I2C-like" buses "invented" by manufacturers that don't like to admit that Philips developed the real I2C bus ?   Wink

To save any unnecessary Googling the SHT31 interface options appear to be identified with suffixes :

DIS - Digital I2C single shot
ARP - Analog ratiometric out periodic
LSS - Legacy Sensibus single shot

Cheers,  Alan.
Just for interest.

Hooked up the digital "Closed Cube" SHT31 in picture onto the same I2C on TX0 as the SHT21 used to be on.

Did appropriate changes on software.

Started up and RX unit refused to read any Temp data.

Changed back to SHT21, changed software settings back and it began to work immediately.

Wired up VCC to VDD? etc, left ALR not connected. Perhaps this version does not work on Weatherduino, or have I done something else wrong?

Ordered these from China;

See if that works, anyone else got the "Closed Cube" Version to work?

I don't see any reason for those modules do not work.
The TX board have two I2C connectors, have you tried on both?

I shall try this next weekend when  I get onto the roof. See what happens, perhaps I just have a faulty module.

Hi,
I have had one working for about 11 months in my Tx without any issues. I bought it on ebay direct from Closed Cube in England

I'm using this SHT31 board from closed cube. Purchased from tindie.

I know this is a bit historical, but I have 2 version 5 RX boards.. I had both working at my house with no problems. Anyway I reprogrammed one to suit a friends location fitted an SHT 31 to the RX internal sensor,, thinking I would give him the latest T/H sensor and set it up at his house. It connected to the TX very intermittently or not at all. I assumed there was a problem with the TX module, changed that, then thought it was the RX module on the RX board. This went on for some time. Eventually I thought the only thing I had changed was the RX T/H sensor from a DHT22 to the SHT31. I changed it back to a DHT22 reprogrammed it and it started working without a problem. It appears V5 RX boards do not like SHT31 sensors. (I used the latest Pro software, and yes I did plug the sensor into the correct input on the RX board).

It is now reporting reliably on:

Another weatherduino system online.
