Help Please
#1

Hi all,

I have the new Pro Plus Rxv1.30 Rev C  Board and have nearly finished assembling it, I just want some help/ clarification,
What  are the following connections on the PCB used for :

1 TX LED.  Does it indicate when the RX is transmitting to the WD (Wireless Display)

2 RST.  Used for reseting what ?

3 VP1.  ?

4 PB1.  ?

5 COM LED.  Does this indicate when the RX is recieving signals from the TX (Transmitter)

Any help/guidance  will be greatly appreciated

Yes, that's it.

2 - RST.  Used for reseting what ?
There is no need to connect anything here. It's intended to reset the ESP8266 module, but that can be done by just pressing the small reset button on the Meduino Mega Mini

3 - VP1.  ?
Same use than on the Pro2 system. Connect here an ON / OFF switch. It's used as a program / run switch. It should be at open position when programming the system and put in close position before starting your favourite weather software. Remember, this is important. Failing to do this makes that your system always reboot when the weather software starts, and communication also fails.

4 - PB1.  ?
Same use than on the Pro2 system. Connect here a normally open momentary push button. It is used to quickly turn OFF / ON the TFT backlight. A double click is a quick shortcut to display graphics on the display, and its also used to perform a "factory reset".

5 - COM LED.  Does this indicate when the RX is recieving signals from the TX (Transmitter)
Same use than on the Pro2 system. It is steadily ON when the system starts, and until system is ready to start a connection with weather software. Then it goes OFF.
It should start to blink after you get a successful connection with your favourite weather software.
