Maybe just you haven't found them yet, but they are on the code of the WeatherDuino Pro2 PLUS.
I think that everything is possible, however this is a thing that I haven't any plans to do, at least in a near future.
Perhaps at some point something like this will be implemented, at least to control some or all of the GPIO pins. However I must say that implementing this feature isn't in the my priority list.
