Be carefull uncle_bob, RS232 voltage levels are quite diferrent from TTL voltage levels, to use your RS232/RS485 device, you need to use an RS232 to TTL converter like MAX232, or you will kill your Nano (Mega, etc)

The chinese device seems to be ready to work with TTL levels
