Here's the Cumulus MX solar graph from last night. The further into the evening it went the more the solar sensor increased the number of 1 w/m2 readings. Nothing was going on in the house any different at 8pm than at 8am so I cannot think of any additional electrical device being turned on to cause interference.

Frustrated that the readings continued to climb ever higher I swapped out the U1 battery and trickle charger for a 12VDC regulated power supply at 5:00am. This had no effect on the readings and they continued to increase until sunrise.

Official sunrise was at 7:48am.
