Ahh I found them, they are called "plant pot saucers", used like a tea cup and saucer, the saucer goes under the plant pot to stop the water spilling out of the holes in the bottom of the plant pot. I searched on Ebay for "white plant pot saucer plastic" with "include description" ticked, and came up with ;-

...but they are all colored or clear and none of them are white and would have to be painted with bright white emulsion (latter is water based, gloss paint would be better initially but goes yellow over time since it's oil based).
I'll have a think and order some later. Unless I re-use this dead Davis VP1's standard RS that I have lying around here.
