Hi,
At first sign it seems just a problem with the RF transmission. Two meters between the transmitter and the receiver, may be a very short distance, which can block the receiver. The first thing I would try is putting the RX unit some meters away, or for testing you could also try remove the receiver antenna on the RX unit.
Let me know the results...
When the third "1" comes, the LCD display jumps to showing data, so usually it's hard to see all three "ones" together". But, as you know, it shouldn't take more than 1 to 2 minutes to happen.
