OK, take two....
Managed to get the VNC installed and auto running upon boot, however had an error in the VNC every time you launched a session. Tried many things all afternoon to fix it, then eventually couldn't reboot and get the GUI to start. So flattened the image and reloaded from scratch... See how this time round goes... Yup, steep learning curve, even for an old IT guy like myself (never played with Linux really)... Had some SCO Unix exposure about 15 years ago, so some of it is familiar and coming back to me (slowly).... Round 2 up and running and distro updating...
