Davis Sensors
#2

Yes you can use most parts; but not the temperature humidity sensor, this will need to be replaced with an SHT11 from Sensirion. The older Davis T/H sensors used a different technology with thermistors etc. (Though the Davis Vantage Pro uses an SHT11 from sensirion)

You can connect:

Rain Gauge (either metric or imperial ).
Anemometer and wind Vane ( see here how to connect http://www.meteocercal.info/forum/Thread...Duino-Pro2).

Replace T/H sensor (sell the Davis one on ebay they still sell!)

If you have a radiation shield you can put the SHT10 or SHT11 into this.

And you will need to make up a TX Board (into which you plug all the sensors ) and this transmits wirelessly to the RX board and readout in the house (which also needs making up). This can then be connected to any computer via Cumulus; and then to the internet via Cumulus. ( I suggest you download Cumulus, it is free though donations are welcomed and see how it works. )

One of the many advantages is that you will have good quality Davis sensors connected to the Weatherduino Pro system which is very flexible and which can be expanded to gather the same data as the most expensive Davis Vantage Pro.
