Quote:Still have a few things to sort out. The Rx unit is occasionally loosing contact with the tx unit. seems to be random but usually occurs around mid morning. I have some new aerials coming to see if that helps.
What is the distance between TX and RX unit?
Quote:The other thing is my humidity readings seem to hit 100% during the night, can anyone tell me if that is normal or have I got a problem.
If there are any nearby weather stations, you can use wunderground to check their readings, but to me it seems a problem with the DHT22 sensor, my experience tells me that they are not very suitable for outside use, specially because of their humidity readings, that have a trend to reach near 100% very quickly. It seems to be a common behaviour that sometimes only start to happen after some months, but also has been seen just after some weeks of use.
There are some advices about it on the forum.
If possible try to change your DHT22 for an SHT10 or SHT11, they cost a little more but are very good sensors (Davis uses SHT11) and last for several years.
