I also hope to adapt/use the Auriol software/protocol for two of my "long term" projects: (1)  Receiving the Fine Offset data protocol (particularly the Solar Sensor which has a digital-only output) into Weatherduino, and (2) an "Ultra Low power" Transmitter (non-Arduino) to work with much more modest solar panel requirements (or even alkaline cells).

If there are any "hints and tips" that you can give about the Auriol program code, but don't want to publish in the public domain, then I also would very much appreciate a PM.
