This should solve the display issue. Hope that display isn't another unknown variant of the original ILI9341 TFT displays. Picture is quite different of the recommended version.
Unfortunately no real change. I have a second (identical) display, and not surprisingly it behaves the same, so not a "one-off"
I've attached some pictures of the display board.
Can I do some debugging?
