Hello,

Let me introduce my last RX station to you ...

It is WeatherDuino Pro2 Plus RX unit and it is in one cabinet with Raspberry & CumulusMX.
RX+ has the ability to work with WeatherUnderground directly, but I use CumulusMX for
upload meteo data to my own web pages. (I'm sure you will notice a red LED - I really have not
switched cooperation with WU to WD, I have my RX+ unit in a place where I do not have a good
enough WiFi signal, so I can not migrate for the end of this week.)

The cabinet also includes a backup battery, a power supply with UPS features, a powered USB hub,
power modules for individual parts of the device, and a Raspbian HDD for CumulusMX. RX+ uses
LCD 2.8" (TFT touch 320x240, SPI, ILI9341) = standard for RX+. There is too LCD 7" (TFT IPS
1024x600 HDMI touch) for Raspbian + CumulusMX control (2 possible modes of work - CLI or X).

The device has been running for months on the table before I've finished installing the cabinet.
The whole set is very stable and its "heart" WeatherDuino Pro2 Plus is certainly the best I've ever
seen. Let me express great thanks to Werk_AG.









The device still has no borders around the two displays - I still solve it ...

I just can imagine the amount time, effort, and care to finalize a work like that. I'm feeling proud by you feel that the WeatherDuino Pro2 deserves such amount of effort.

I see a battery inside, is it used as a backup in case of power supply (mains) failure?

Also have you used a touch screen display for the Raspberry?

Hi Zdenek,
Congratulations on a fantastic piece of construction. 
I have had my Pro 2 receiver running for some months and it has been extremely reliable, a great credit to the endless design work of Werk, and no doubt to the senior members of the forum who assist with testing the new developments.
My unit is also mains powered with battery backup, integrated pi, 5 volt and 9 volt step down modules etc, and I have a touch screen for the pi but can not find a case as large as yours to allow me to integrate it. I still connect to an external screen via HDMI.
Is it possible you could advise me of the supplier to see if I can obtain one in Australia.
When I have a little more spare time I will post some more photos of my modules.
