WeatherDuino for Auriol H13726A
#1

Hello,
I'm Francesco from Italy and I'm really happy to find this forum.
I notice that there are many versions of WeatherDuino (that is an evolution of AuriolDuino, right?).
I would like only to find a way to upload my Auriol H13726A on the internet without using a PC, is it possible? I used to build PC but I don't understand how these WeatherDuino works and how to build it. The main question is: is there a way to find an WeatherDuino that catch data from Auriol H13726A and upload it on the internet or I need to build and setup it? And how?
Thank you very much and sorry for the noob questions.

Hello Francesco, welcome

All WeatherDuino Pro2 RX units, can receive data from the Auriol H13726A weather stations.

If you don't want to have a PC or a Raspberry, and uploading your data to Wunderground is enough for you, the WeatherDuino Pro2 PLUS is what you are looking for. It can work as a stand alone unit, using your home Hi-Fi to upload the data to Wunderground. As all the other WeatherDuino Pro2 receivers it can also be used connected to a computer, running Cumulus (the best for me) or other software.

In all cases, no matter which WeatherDuino Pro2 receiver unit you choose, you always have to assemble some parts and do simple soldering jobs.
Please refer to this section of the forum: PCB's and Parts lists

and consult the parts list for each version.

Regards

Thank you very much for your answer! I see the Pro2 Plus but I think it's too much for me.
So if I buy the RX v5.02 I need to connect it to my PC and it must be on 24h or the PCB have a memory and then send the data when I switch on the pc?
I see even the thread of part list...if I buy the RX v.5.02 I need to buy even the RX and TX module, and then connect it to the PCB right? Is there an "how-to"?
Sorry for the questions but I have only the passion for the weather right now Big Grin

If you want to have online data in realtime you will need to have a PC or Raspberry running 24H a day

You will need to buy and assemble all parts on the Parts List.
The WeatherDuino Pro2 RX v6.0x works exactly as the RX v5.02, but comes almost completely assembled, you only need to add some connectors and the LCD display

The best "How-to" you can get is by reading the forum, there are plenty of information about all aspects of the WeatherDuino Pro2 system including assembling it. I know it takes time, but remember the WeatherDuino Pro2 is not a plug and play system, understanding how it works is the key for a successful result.
