AQ Software
#1

Werk,
I noticed today a later version? of build 7 and duly uploaded it. My sensor is initialising and last I looked it was up to read 102. Is there a problem as it seemed OK on the previous build.
Regards
JIm
PS
Reverted to previous build and same issue; ran serial monitor on CO2 and the result was "wrong reply from sensor"; disabled it in the config file and back in business without CO2 reading

Hi Jim,

Can you please verify in your user configurable settings if the selected type of CO2 sensor is the right one for your sensor.

Code:
// --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
//   CO2 (MH-Z19) Settings
//   Note: For outside use, the MH-Z19B model produces more accurate results
// --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#define Use_CO2         1    // 0= Not instaled, 1= Instaled
#define Z19_model       2    // 1= Model A, 2= Model B  (ATTENTION: Make sure you select the correct model)

Have you tried to power off and power on again the AQM ?
Bear in mind that the new software only starts to try to read the sensor after an initial period of 3 minutes, and getting "wrong reply from sensor" on the first attempt of reading it may be normal.

If the problem will persist, please post a copy of the serial monitor output, it may help.

Werk,
The config file is correct, I have model A and have powered it down many times to no avail.
I have tried to copy the serial monitor output but with no success. Could you please explain how this is achieved

Jim

Hi Jim, not Werk here but, you just highlight all the text and hit Ctrl +C to copy it, then paste it as usual.

Werk,
Below is the code from the serial monitor of the CO2 sensor; every time it does a read it returns an error.
I will replace it when the new one arrives.
Do you have a link to the B model? as all i can find is the A type

Jim

Hi Jim,

Sorry for the late reply.
Usually a read error is caused by problems with the serial connection to the sensor.
If you want you can try the attached MH-Z19 test software. It tries to read the MH-Z19 at each 8 seconds, and outputs data to the LCD and the Serial Monitor.
There is no need to do any configuration, it works with models A and B.

Werk,
I downloaded and ran the test and below is the result; as you can see it appears to have come good after an initial error read???
 I have reloaded the software and it appears OK at the moment and i will leave it run and let you know the results

As said before, the first or second initial reads always gives a CRC error, which leads to get "Wrong reply from CO2 sensor!"
Is good to know that your back in business again. Smile
