multiple soil temperature sensors
#1

Hi,
A friend of mine has asked me to look for options for a specialised weather station for him, he wants to record weather details for a period of time, but he has one special requirement, as part of a plan to install a heat pump, he wants to record multiple soil temperature readings from 3 soil temperature sensors that will be installed at different depths on the ground he wants to use to extract heat from.

So, the question is relatively easy, is it possible to configure multiple soil temperature sensors on the hardware, and capture the relevant data on to a log file.

Thanks

Steve

That looks very encouraging, I will read further, from a quick scan of the first few pages, it looks that I can indeed configure multiple soil temp sensors, so that will be capable of doing the job he needs it to.

Thanks

With the WeatherDuino Soil / Leaf interface you can use up to four 1-Wire soil temperature sensors. The readings from the sensors can logged through Cumulus.
