Hi,

In the context of CumulusMX, it has been noted that there appears to be an issue around mDNS.
Could you shed your light on this as I suggested there that the AQM-III should handle the mDNS requests which  would solve the issue.

Could you comment on the CMX forum?

Thanks for bringing my attention to this matter,and to the discussion on the CMX forum.
Isn't properly an issue, mDNS isn't implemented at all on the current AQM-III firmware, I will try to do it on next release of the AQM-III firmware.

Bellow are my comments on the CMX forum:


I will try to add mDNS procedure on next AQM-III firmware.

There is already some work done.

CumulusMX is now able to discover the device via zero-config:

2021-09-26 05:09:04.447 ZeroConf Service: Attempting to find AirLink via zero-config...
2021-09-26 05:09:04.840 ZeroConfig Service: AirLink found 'AQM-DevK1', reporting its IP address as: 192.168.1.114
2021-09-26 05:09:05.448 ZeroConf Service: Auto-discovery found the AirLink, reporting its IP address as: 192.168.1.114s

Hi Hans,

The version with mDNS support isn't published yet. It is on a test phase now.
I will need some more time to check the implications of the changes on all WeatherDuino software.
Once published a notice will be posted on the forum.
