The waterproof version of DS18B20 is fully waterproof. Look this up under arduino it is very easy to hook up to any arduino board and is very accurate, I have a few running underwater and underground.the nice thing with them is that each probe has its own address so you can rig up half a dozen onto one arduino input, and get a readout for each probe. See link to ebay above. http://www.hacktronics.com/Tutorials/ard...orial.html You could, uncle bob, rig a whole series of these onto an independent uno board for less than $20.00. However it would nice to put this into weatherduino.
The one in shreds link is the same as ebay link in my first post above. It is a DS18B20.
