3D printed parts
#1

I thought I'd share with you what I have printed on my repstrap (homemade) 3d printer. The photos attached are of the RX box, wind vane and the start of a Stevenson screen. I created the RX box and wind vane myself using a 3D cad program (freeCad) and I downloaded the Stevenson screen from thingyverse.

Good job! Maybe the RX box could be a little more large.

I Agree, It only just fits, I had to put a chamfer on the holes to squeeze it in. I am not that great on the 3D CAD side of things and the software I am using isn't very user friendly when it comes to going back and changing minor details. It usually corrupts the file and forces you to start again. I am looking to trying other programs but that in turn forces me to learn all over. But that's why we do it!

That's true with the WeatherDuino Pro2 too Smile
It's all about learning.

Maybe at some point, when you be happy with the design, you could make some units available to others, or build them under request, who knows...
