How stable is the transmitter unit
#1

Hi guys, hey just a question a question. In general, how stable is the transmitter unit, when fully installed and running, up in a sealed enclosure or ceiling / attic space..? Do they require rebooting occasionally..? Just contemplating the Tx up in a sealed box, and hoping it would run pretty stable and not have to be accessed that often.... I'm not referring to the mechanical sensors, just thinking about the electronics here. Anyhow, thank you in advance for your comments and experience....

I never saw a TX unit hang. Anyway, it does a self-restart approximately at every 40 days (before millis() rollover).
Usually you only need to access it, for software upgrades.
As a suggestion, put it in a box not very tight, the voltage regulator warms a little.

Other users experience, is most welcome. I'm sure there are many TX units working for some time...
