I want a micro-controller weather station that uploads to Weather Underground and this site is a mine of information.

I am interested in Fine Offset Sensors and have some queries about them in the General Discussion / Weather Equipment thread. Using the existing transmitter looks the cheapest and easiest way to use these sensors and I understand this can be done for Auriol Sensors using AuriolDuino. I see that Fine Offset uses different signal encoding and uses slightly different but nearly the same encoding for different transmitters which probably includes this one. As far as I can tell AuriolDuino only decodes signals from Auriol transmitters even though I see the Oregon Scientific protocol described here.

Is that correct or could I use AuriolDuino to decode 433MHZ signals from Fine Offset or other sensors?

Hi, i would interface my all sensor (thermo/hygro,wind,rain) with a this board. Now i have the weather station base, and receive the data on my PC every 2 minute.
I don't have a Raspberry or Arduino board for interface that with internet server.
With this system(AuriolDuino) ,can i receive the data every sensor transmit, without original base station, but directly with RFM module of this board? On the manual ,sensor transmit with 433mHz.
Thanks

Hello Weatherwatchers,
I am thinking of using the Ventus W155 system, but need the facility to log the data for later download to Cumulus, is this possible with the AuriolDuino RX.
Also the W155 now comes with a wireless temp/hum sensor, but is there the facility in the RX unit to collect this extra sensor data, or only data from the addon TX board.

Hello,

I'd like to use AuriolDuino to upload meterologic information to the Internet, as I already do with my home electricity consumption monitor (HECM).

The ideia would not be to connect it to a PC with specific SW, but instead to connect it to my internet router the same way I did with my HECM.

Check it out here

In order to do so, I'd need to know the communication stream format so I can process the information and decide what to send...

Is there any document that explains the communication stream format?

Any suggestion of an IoT site that can receive meteriological information?

Thanks in advance,
