Sensor Suitability - Barrow4491 - 01-09-2016

Hi,
I came across a sensor (Aosong AM2306) and am wondering if it would be suitable for the system.

I have attached a PDF of the manual.

The AM2306 isn't in the list of supported sensors, however it's possible that it will work as a DHT22. If you want try it at your own risk.

As an opinion, it is expensive and the radiation shield don't seems effective.
