Voltage regulation on the new TX board - tyntop - 12-09-2015

Hi,
Would it be a good idea to upgrade the 7809 voltage regulator on the new TX v3.11 board to a regulator with a 1.5amp output to allow for the 2 new 5v and 3.3v voltage regulators on this board. As I understand that the normal 7809 is only a 1amp unit.
Another query, would using a 1.5amp 7809 regulator on the TXv2.5 board cause any problems ?

It don't cause any problem, but there is no need to do so.
As stated in this thread:

"The TX v3.11 board, with all the sensors connected, including a Solar / UV module and a powered anemometer*, consumes just 60mA, with very short spikes to 90mA, when it transmit data.
