Can someone explain what exactly is 'fine offset sensors'?
I am starting to shop for sensors ... I may purchase a commercial unit (sensor head assembly) - especially wind and wind direction.

There is a lot of weather stations sold around the world with a large variety of brand names (PCE, Watson, Maplin), but all of they are made by a chinese company named Fine Offset.
Their weather instruments are widely available in Europe, and I think also in the USA. Instruments can be purchased separately or as a bundle.
Just as a reference, check this link from USA company:

The WeatherDuino Pro2 system is designed to use those weather instruments
