Housing for TX/AQM Unit - engolling - 07-10-2018

Hello folks,

as already announced I would like to introduce my housing for the outside modules.
I choose a industrial grade steel enclosure from Rittal because they will hopefully last the next 50 years   .
Litte joke, I thought here you get the most for your money and you can have nearly everything as add on, in my case a drain for condensate on the right bottom.






Attached you can find some drawings where the holes of the cable glands and the PCBs are located on the mounting plate. More over there are the drawings of my radiation shield made out of saucers.

Full Professionalism.

As I understand this version will be powered by 230v network? 
In this case, the power supply from Meanwell is a very good choice. 
Do not forget to connect the chassis to the ground.

Exactly my version is powered with 230V AC since I want to have my rain bucket heated. So it is easier to dig in a cable instead of mounting a huge solar cell and battery.
The Meanwell supply is suitable and with regard to price and performance very suitable.

In sight of correct installation it is also a advantage of this housing, since it contains the complete material to install a proper grounding of the housing, mounting plate and the door.
