How do I work out if I need 82B715 ? -

Am trying to purchase the last parts for my build. The parts list has this as optional. I probably plan to hook this up to a davis sensor set (I'll post something else on that subject). Is it only required with the SHT31 temp sensor or for other potential setups ? Should I just fit it anyway ? Advice appreciated

The use of the 82B715 chip its optional but highly recomended. It will allow using cables up to 6 to 7 meters for any I2C sensor, like the SHT31, otherwise the cable should be very short.
In doubt, install a DIP8 socket on the TX board, later if you feel that you need the chip, its just a matter of inserting it.

Ok - seems like a good idea. Thanks Werk
